• The successful appointee will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, and deploying signal processing algorithms for electromagnetic medical imaging
• The successful appointee will have access to UQ facilities (lab, libraries, databases, project drives, … etc) that serve the project
• There are opportunities to work with an elite group of researchers and a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers, industry partners & clinicians, and external agencies to develop co-operative research initiatives
Applicants should possess qualifications in relevant disciplines. They should also have a strong desire to develop a successful and highly-productive research career in signal processing algorithms for electromagnetic medical imaging
Applicants should demonstrate expert knowledge in Signal Processing, good general research skills, a strong methodological background, excellent statistical and analytical skills, and the capacity to work with multidisciplinary research teams. They are expected to demonstrate high-level interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate, consult and negotiate with other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
