Postdoctoral Fellowship in Machine Learning/Computer Vision

Position Description: Postdoctoral Fellow


Description: A Postdoctoral Fellowship is available in the Robotics and Computer Vision Lab (RCVLab) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Queen’s University. The position will be under the supervision of Prof. Michael Greenspan, and is available for one year, with the potential for an additional year’s extension. The Postdoctoral Fellow appointed to this position will be actively involved in all aspects of the RCVLab and Dr. Greenspan’s research, including project supervision and management, research development, co-publication, collaboration in developing initiatives. 


Employment Term: The term is part-time, for a duration of 12 months, starting January 1 st 2021 (or earlier), with a possibility of extension. 


Candidate Qualifications and Role: The candidate will have a demonstrated background and expertise in Deep Learning applied to Computer Vision, ideally with expertise in 3D vision. A solid publication record and excellent implementation skills are essential, and industrial experience is beneficial. Applicants are expected to have finished, or be close to finishing, their PhD degrees.
